Madison + Nick

It was such a huge pleasure for us to film Madison and Nicholas' amazing wedding day, and to join in the celebration of their love and marriage!

Madison and Nick found us through Madison's friends, Trisha and Evan, whose fantastic wedding we filmed a couple of years ago.  More importantly though, they met each other living across the hall in their freshman year at college.  They were acquaintances for a while, then became friends, but Nick left the college after that first year.  Madison thought she wouldn't see him again, but he visited the college occasionally to see friends, including Madison.

Then in Madison's junior year, Nick messaged her to come see him in Maryland while he was in training.  She went down there for a visit the following month where they had their first date, and their first kiss!  Their ensuing long-distance relationship proved they could do anything if together, and before too long, they were engaged!

The couple made the perfect decision to hold everything on their wedding day at HollyHedge Estate in New Hope, Pennsylvania, from getting ready that morning to the reception party at night.  HollyHedge is such a gorgeous venue, and it's been quite a few years since we've had the opportunity to visit.  What a treat it was to return, and especially to be filming the beautiful wedding of such a sweet couple!

Madison and her bridal party prepared for the big day there at the historic venue.  We loved the matching black pajamas they all wore as they got ready and had those wonderful photos with the bride.  The bridesmaids wore a deep pine green gowns and carried heavenly bouquets from The Pod Shop with blooms in white, gold and rustic orange nestled among soft eucalyptus.

Madison dressed into her gorgeous strapless wedding gown with its lovely ruching along the bodice and ball gown silhouette.  She wore her hair up in a romantic bun and had a long veil attached to the back for the first part of her day.  Madison was the most beautiful bride.

Nick also prepared that morning at HollyHedge.  He and his groomsmen relaxed and had fun as they got ready, dressing into their classic black tuxedos then joining in on a toast that made for fantastic photos.  Nick wore a bow tie while his party sported black neckties, and didn't they all look great together!

Before the ceremony was scheduled to begin, the two shared a sweet first look outside.  And you can see just how overjoyed they were to see each other for the first time on the day they for which they planned so carefully.  It was such a pleasure, too to work with LoveStruck Pictures as they took photos of the couple during this moment, and for the entire beautiful event.

Up next was the moment it all became official!  The couple's ceremony took place outdoors on the patio by the historic stone barn.  Madison and Nick stood in front of their family and friends as they recited their vows, exchanged wedding rings and were pronounced and presented to all their friends and family as 'husband and wife'.  And a kiss sealed it!

Then, everyone was ready to celebrate at the reception in HollyHedge's New Barn!  Madison and Nick entered the reception space when announced, and (after Nick high-fived a few people!) moved straight into their beautiful first dance.  And it really was so romantic to see their love shine as they took the spotlight for this first dance of the evening.

During the evening's formalities were those sweet parent dances (crying included), and as a surprise, Madison danced with her mother, too!  Madison's maid of honor and Nick's best man gave their wonderful toasts full of compliments to the bride and groom, and Madison's father gave a lovely speech, thanking everyone and toasting the couple.  And for the last speech, Nick thanked everyone for joining Madison and him on this very special day.

The dance floor then opened and the party was on!  Pulse Entertainment rocked the house and kept everyone out on the dance floor all night!  It really was such a fun evening for all.  And Madison and Nick took a quick break from dancing for the formal cake cutting, the lovely three-tiered, semi-naked cake provided by HollyHedge.

We're so thankful that Madison and Nicholas chose us to film their wonderful wedding day.  Their love is such an inspiration, and we wish them continued love and happiness together.

Trisha + Evan

We were so thrilled to be there to film and celebrate this absolutely fantastic wedding event in Philadelphia!  And the fact that this couple was so sweet was just icing on the cake.  Trisha and Evan were married on a beautiful day in mid-October... the weather was perfect and the love truly overflowing that day.

Trisha met Evan after she happened to work with his best friend from high school.  She and her friend and co-worker planned an evening to hang out with friends in Doylestown, and all met at the house of one of their friends.  The last person to arrive that evening was Evan.  Trisha and Evan started talking later that night, exchanged numbers and soon fell madly in love.

Fast forward a bit to their wedding event!  Trisha got ready for the big day at her parents' house in Philadelphia with her family and bridal party joining in for the morning preparations.  There, she had her last touches of makeup applied by MadMakeup and her beautiful long, wavy hairstyle perfected by Ariel Katrina Hair.  The bridal party made sure to take some time for photos together, too, before dressing into their lovely long gowns.

Then, Trisha dressed into her gorgeous wedding gown with help from her mother and sister.  Her strapless dress had a sweetheart bodice and was covered in lace embroidery in a beautiful floral pattern.  It had just the perfect amount of shimmer and a fabulous princess silhouette.   She accessorized with a delicate necklace and dangling earrings, and completed her look with a long, traditional veil for the ceremony.  Trisha looked so amazing!

Evan prepared for the wedding day with his groomsmen at his parents' home, dressing into his dark navy tuxedo with his father by his side.  His mother then added the perfect final touch with an ivory floral boutonniere.

Once Trisha was all dressed and ready, her father received his first look at his beautiful daughter on this very special day.  We absolutely loved how emotional he was at the sight of his daughter descending the stairs, and was tearful several more times throughout the day, too!  It was so wonderful to be there for these sweet and sentimental moments.

Trisha and Evan's traditional Catholic ceremony was held at St. Martha Parish in the northeast section of Philadelphia.  Trisha entered the church and walked down the aisle on the arm of her father.  This was the moment she and Evan had their first look at each other on this special day, and Evan was so emotional at the sight of his bride.  Father Jonathan Dalin delivered a beautiful message and led the two in reciting their vows and exchanging rings.  Then, Trisha and Evan were officially 'husband and wife'!

We all had a fantastic time during the formal photo shoot at Nazareth Academy, and what a gorgeous, historic location for those wedding photos!  One of our absolute favorites, Artistic Imagery, captured the day's events for Trisha and Evan, and we know that album will be so beautiful.

Then, it was time to party!  Trisha and Evan's reception took place at Heroes Ballroom in the Philadelphia FOP Lodge #5.   They chose such beautiful, iconic fall colors for their event, matching the bridal party's gowns in warm cinnamon brown, merlot red, creamy white, dusty rose and burgundy.... and a touch of lavender, too!   The flower arrangements from London Flower & Variety were simply amazing.  And the couple's white, semi-naked, four-tiered cake with burgundy and ivory blooms from Schenks Family Bakery was also so delightful.

Father Dalin gave the blessing and we heard toasts from Trisha's father, from her sister and maid of honor and from Evan's two best men, his brothers.  Evan then expressed his love and gratitude to their family and friends on behalf of Trisha and himself for being there to support and celebrate with them.

Then, in another one of our favorite moments, the traditional (and so emotional) parent dances took place, and Trisha danced a sweet waltz with her grandfather and a lively dance with her father-in-law as a surprise as well.  And after dinner, dancing and celebrating continued all night thanks to the absolutely fantastic sounds of the Slippery Band!

This was truly a wonderful day and we were so happy to be a part of capturing it for Trisha and Evan.  Best wishes to the newlyweds!
