Lauren + Michael

Lauren and Mike met and began dating in high school.  Puppy love turned into a more real love... and eventually a real puppy!  Mike had a wonderful idea when it came time for the proposal.  One Christmas Eve when Lauren returned home from work, she noticed right away that their puppy, Ryder, was sporting a new sweater that read, "I Woof You".  Mike told Lauren to check out his new dog tag as well.  On one side listed Ryder's name, but on the other side, it read, "Mommy, will you marry Daddy?"!  When Lauren looked up, Mike was holding the ring and asked her to be his forever.

That brings us to this beautiful wedding day!  Lauren got ready for her wedding event at her parent's house while Mike and his groomsmen prepared at their home.  Her beautiful bridesmaids wore long matching gray gowns with a one shoulder design while her sister, her maid of honor, wore a contrasting light yellow gown.  We love the gray and yellow color scheme!  And Lauren was such a breathtaking bride in her wedding gown!  Her dress had a beautiful trumpet silhouette and was covered in lace.  She wore her her in an updo with a long veil attached to the back and accented with a lovely bouquet in white and sunny yellow.  And look at those amazing heels!  So gorgeous!

Lauren and Mike's wedding ceremony was held at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Sewell, NJ.  Their family and friends were all there to watch the two recite their traditional vows and become 'husband and wife'!

Intrigue Photography took formal photos at the church after the ceremony and more candid shots at the reception venue.  Then, everyone headed to Lucien's Manor in Berlin, NJ for their wonderful reception.  Lucien's ballroom is so exquisite.  It featured glamorous sparkling chandeliers, stately columns, intricate ceiling plaster designs and was decorated with such fantastic, tall floral centerpieces in bright pinks, peach, yellow and white by Heart to Heart Florist.

Lauren and Mike's reception kicked off with a beautiful dance in the clouds!  The two had their first dance amid a dramatic and romantic cloud-like smoke on the dance floor.  Then, everyone got into the action, with Steve & Company keeping the dance floor hopping well into the evening!

It was a simply fantastic, beautiful, very warm day in June as "two best friends became one"!  Congratulations to a sweet couple, Lauren and Mike!

Ashley + Matt

Ashley and Matt met and got to know each other like so many of us do, through working together at the same company.  Their proposal however, was not so usual!  Ashley and Matt went on vacation in the Outer Banks of North Carolina with her extended family, a twenty year tradition for her family.  When everyone was gathered at the house, Matt asked his cousin to send everyone out to the balcony while the two went for a walk to a gazebo overlooking the beach.  At that moment, a small plane few overhead with the message, "Will you marry me Ashley?"!  Of course, she said yes!

Fast forward to their gorgeous wedding day in May.  Ashley and Matt chose the phenomenal Laurita Winery in New Egypt, NJ for their ceremony and reception.  We love this wedding location and couldn't wait to film their wedding here.  But first, the bridal party had a great time getting ready for the day with assistance from Rebecca Ryan Makeup and Ariel Katrina Hair at the Courtyard Marriott Burlington.  The ladies all wore matching t-shirts with "Bride Tribe" printed on them and joked and paused for photos.  They guys dressed in matching light gray suits with peachy-orange ties while the bridesmaids wore lovely long, mismatched chiffon gowns in charcoal gray.  The gray-peach color combination was so spring-like and charming.  And we'd certainly be remiss if we didn't mention how cute the flower girls and ring bearer were all dressed up for the day!

Then there was Ashley!  She wore a strapless gown that was covered to the floor in beautiful lace appliqués with a subtle beading detail. Glamorous pearl and rhinestone brooches were placed into the back of her hair, keeping her lovely long locks swept to one side.  What a beautiful bride!  Ashley's flower bouquet from Wild Stems was also beautiful in soft peaches, rose and white.  Her bridesmaids' bouquets were similar but with bright pops of orange.  Before leaving for their first look, Ashley and Matt were delighted to read love notes that they wrote ahead of time for each other.

Then, we were off to Laurita Winery!  Ashley and Matt had a first look there in the vineyards of the winery.  First looks are always so exciting!  They were both so anxious to see each other all dressed up for the big day and ready to tie the knot!

After the touching first look, there were plenty of scenic locations for photos and video.  Ashley and Matt paused for photos in front of the rustic barn and all throughout the rows and rows of grapevines in the vineyards while Susan Hennessey and her assistant took such marvelous photos of the couple, the bridal party and family in the pastoral location.  Take a look at some of her photos on her blog!

Ashley and Matt had a wonderful outdoor ceremony at Laurita.  We loved the "choose a seat not a side" sign letting guests know that they should mix up the seating for the ceremony and sit on either side of the aisle.  The couple stood in front of a impressive wood pergola adorned with the most gorgeous spray of flowers in deep oranges, rose and gold.  Ashley and Matt spoke beautiful, personal vows written from the heart as their ceremony was officiated by a friend of the two.

The wedding reception was held inside the winery, with rustic chic elements found all around.  In the "marketplace", white market string lights draped from the rough hewn beams and the winery's market awnings in burgundy and green complimented the red brick walls and iron chandeliers.  The reception tables had such amazing centerpieces... beautiful flower arrangements in oranges, peaches and white surrounding eye catching wine bottles with white string lights inside.  They were very unique and certainly gave a nod to the winery setting.

Ashely and Matt kicked off the reception with a beautifully choreographed first dance and truly looked like professional dancers on the dance floor!  We were treated to wonderful toasts just before dinner, then the dance floor was opened up!  SCE Event Group's Jason Jani's DJ services were spectacular and everyone had a blast dancing the evening away!

The reception ended with a spectacular fireworks display and a sparkler salute to honor the bride and groom upon Ashley and Matt's exit from the event.

This was such a wonderful wedding... superb location, perfect weather and awesome couple!  Congratulations to Ashley and Matt!  To echo the words of your sisters and maids of honor, may you have a beautiful marriage filled with years of happiness.

Caitlin + Eric

It was love at first sight for both Caitlin and Eric when they met at a party he held one October.  Caitlin's father and grandfather had always told her that the man she marries has to shine his shoes and lo and behold, Eric just happened to do that before their first date!  When Caitlin found that out, she knew for sure that she had found the one she was destined to marry.  And Eric knew when on their third date, Caitlin surprised him with Eagles tickets… you can't let that girl get away!  Four years later, they were tying the knot on a gorgeous fall day at the shore.

Caitlin and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day at her parents' house while Eric and his groomsmen prepared at a separate house nearby.  We loved being there to capture the wonderful gifts that they gave each other as a token of their love and to always remember their wedding day every time they look at them.  The beautiful bridal party wore long, soft sage dresses, all with different necklines, and Caitlin chose both of her sisters to share in the Maid of Honor role for her wedding.

Caitlin's wedding dress was absolutely exquisite!  She wore a strapless fit-and-flare gown with a lovely lace detail.  Her hair, expertly styled by Fusion Salon and Day Spa, was in a beautiful updo and she accented it with a sparkling hair clip and a long veil for the ceremony and formal photos.  In her hands was a delightful bouquet all in pastel blooms from Primrose & Company.  Caitlin truly was a stunning bride!

It was now time to head to the church where they would each other for the first time that day.  We'll never get tired of seeing that look on the bride and groom's faces when they get to see each other all dressed for the special day…so excited and overwhelmed with joy!  There's no hiding it!  They recited their traditional vows at Maris Stella Catholic Church in Avalon, then kissed and officially began their new life together as husband and wife.

We spent some time with them as they strolled in the sand and posed for photos for Prince Photography at the 63rd Street Beach in Avalon.  What a gorgeous day for beach photos!  The guys even had some fun chasing the birds!

Their reception had a decidedly nautical theme complete with anchors and starfish, perfect for this seaside setting at Avalon Yacht Club.  After a wonderful welcome from Caitlin's father, Eric's brother (his best man) and Caitlin's sisters gave heartwarming and fun toasts in only the way siblings can!  Then the dance floor opened after dinner, with Chico's Vibe keeping everyone out there and having a blast!

What a sweet couple and a phenomenal wedding event!  The weather was perfect and everyone had such a terrific time celebrating the love and marriage of two special people in their lives.  Caitlin and Eric's wedding was such a pleasure to film and attend, and a fantastic way to end our wedding season.  Congratulations again to Caitlin and Eric!

Lisa + Jeff

Lisa and Jeff met several years earlier when Lisa’s dog needed emergency care.  Jeff works for an animal E.R. in Baltimore and was part of the team providing the medical care that her dog needed throughout her five day hospitalization.  Although Lisa and Jeff didn’t meet under the best of circumstances, their relationship blossomed from that first day.

On their 1,000th day together, Jeff decided it was time to move their relationship into the next phase.  On a date at Sherwood Gardens, Jeff presented Lisa with a photo book he had created highlighting their relationship’s history to that date.  On the last page was a photo of Jeff’s hand with the ring in its box, and the words, “Now I have a question for you...”.  Jeff then got down on one knee and asked for Lisa’s hand in marriage.  Through tears, she happily said, “Yes!”.  That brings us to this wonderful day, the next chapter in their lives, and a new chapter to add to their photo book!

Lisa and Jeff added so much wonderful personalization to their wedding day.  We loved the chalkboard signs that were found throughout the event.  Some were also held by Lisa’s bridal party to creatively describe their ties to Lisa in their ‘morning preparations’ photo shoot.  We loved how they held up their signs indicating what they have in common with Lisa while wearing their matching robes!

The beautiful bridesmaids dressed in the theme color, a bright, yet deep shade of purple, in lovely one-shoulder, knee length gowns.  Their bright bouquets by Floral Impressions had a pop of this vibrant purple color, mixed in with light green and orange.  Lisa’s lush bouquet was made in ivory with accents of purple infused.  And while Jeff wore a classic black tux with white tie, his groomsmen matched the bridesmaids’ purple gowns with their vests and ties.  Everything tied together so wonderfully!

Lisa wore a beautiful lace covered A-line wedding gown with a lovely V-neck design.  Her classic, mid-length veil was edged in matching lace and was fastened at the back of her hair.  And she also accented the side of her hair with a romantic white faux flower.  She was absolutely stunning!

Lisa and Jeff share an affinity for Disney and a love of animals, so they were sure to incorporate both into their wedding day!  Their beloved dogs, Abby and Scooby, were the honorary flower girl and ring bearer for this event!  And we’ll soon find special touches of Disney throughout their reception.

Lisa and Jeff’s ceremony was held at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Dundalk, MD.  The two skipped any first looks that morning and instead saved that moment for the altar.  We loved how Jeff had to hold back his emotions as he saw his bride coming up the aisle to meet him.  They recited their traditional vows and were united as husband and wife.

Photos by Timeless Impressions followed in the church and in a peaceful field not far from their reception venue.  Check out the wedding party’s celebratory poses at the altar!  And in the recreation field, it was so nice to see the couple having a little time alone before their reception.

The reception then commenced at the Shriners' Boumi Temple.  This establishment, its name Arabic for ‘Owl’, was founded in 1884 as a fraternity for Masons seeking fun and fellowship.  The ballroom was exquisite, decked out in chiavari chairs and deep purple linens.  Their delightful four-tier cake by Baltimore Cakery featured ribbons in purple and a cute couple wearing ‘bride and groom’ Mickey ears!  Also found at the head table were real-life Mickey ear hats for Lisa and Jeff!

Emotions certainly ran high during the beautifully written speeches that were given in honor of Lisa and Jeff.  And there was not a dry eye in the house when Lisa’s father gave his moving toast, reminding everyone that Lisa will always be his little girl.  It was so touching.  And the wonderful Polish tradition of the sharing of the bread, salt and wine was included in this event.  In this symbolic toast by their parents, the bride and groom are presented with bread so they may never be hungry, salt so they are reminded to learn to cope with life’s struggles and wine so they may never be thirsty, but are blessed with the sweetness of life: good health, happiness and the love of many friends.

Once the dance floor was opened, guests had a ton of fun dancing the evening away to music DJ’d by Music Masters, LLC.  The festive Apron Dance was also performed to the cheers of everyone.  To conclude the event, Lisa and Jeff were treated to a fabulous sparkler send off by their friends and family.

It was such a pleasure to be a part of Lisa and Jeff’s wedding day!  In the Polish tradition, we wish you 100 years of good health and happiness!
